How To Make Christmas Tree Napkin Rings
Do you want to host Christmas lunch or dinner at your home and would like to give your Christmas table a special touch? Would you like to make your own napkin rings in an easy and inexpensive way? You'll only need pieces of corrugated cardboard and a few minutes of your time. - Corrugated cardboard
- Pencil
- Scissors or cutter
- Liquid glue
Steps to follow:
To make Christmas tree napkin rings you'll need the following items:
- Green corrugated cardboard
- Scissors
- Craft knife
- Pencil
- Liquid glue
The first step you'll need to take in order to make these easy Christmas tree napkin rings is to cut a piece of cardboard. We have cut a strip of about 18 cm (7 in) long and 6 cm (2.5 in) wide.
Next, turn the cardboard over and draw a silhouette of a Christmas tree or any other Christmas motif if you like. In the image you have an example of a Christmas tree.
Cut out the silhouette with a cutter or craft knife from the cardboard (remember to place a piece of cardboard under the green one so you don't damage your work surface).
This is what your Christmas tree napkin ring should look like after it's been cut out.
Place the cardboard over the rolled-up napkin to get the right width of your napkin ring. Make sure you do so with the corrugated side upwards.
Cut off some cardboard so it fits perfectly if necessary.
Then, use liquid glue to stick both sides of the cardboard together.
Press the napkin ring together with your fingers for a couple of seconds to make sure the glue is perfectly stuck together.
Your Christmas tree napkin rings should look more or less like the one in the picture below.
Create as many napkin rings as guests you will have at your Christmas table.
Slide the napkin through the ring and there you have it! You have made a fantastic and easy Christmas tree napkin ring.
