How to Make a Smurf Costume
Smurfs are small characters who are characterized by their blue colored skin, created by the Belgian cartoonist Peyo in 1958. Years later, these little people made the leap to the screen and became the protagonists of their own series. A Smurf costume can be ideal for many occasions as it is very easy to make yourself at home. In this OneHowTo article we explain how to make a Smurf costume.

The first thing you need to make a Smurf costume is a long sleeved blue t-shirt and some white trousers or thick tights which will be the body and clothes for this little character.
For your hands you can also get some blue gloves and on your feet we recommend wearing some white trainers or some other type of shoes with this color.
What cannot be missed from your Smurf costume is the hat that is so typical of these little characters. You can make it yourself with white foam, also known as foamy, which is a kind of foam covered with fabric that is widely used for making costumes (see picture).

Finally, another possible costume is the villain of the film: Gargamel is the wizard who, along with his cat Azrael, chases the little Smurfs to get rid of them. To dress up as Gargamel you need a black robe and red shoes.
